Description

My view of the world,
Faded shapes and lines,
Like a pearl gently submerged,
In dusk's elegant light.

Hungry bells and alarms
Have lost their daily chime.
The hills open their arms
To conceal the sun's grim shine.

Venus swirls her rosy gown
Amongst the sun's embers.
Nightly, my consciousness drowns.
Morning: I serve the numbers.
